HELP!!Four simple letters, sometimes one tough word!! HELP can be negatively defined as: I can’t carry my own load OR If I have to ask, what will everyone think? But, in the words of John Lennon -
“When you’re drowning, you don’t say ‘I would be incredibly pleased if someone would have the foresight to notice me drowning and come and help me’ — you just scream.”
But even if you are not at the drowning stage, “It’s OK to need help, to ask for help, to get help, or even to talk about getting help – OUT LOUD! (you tube)
And at Haven Family Fund, we agree with the rest of that “you tube” author’s message: “Getting help makes you a smart human. You know your limits and you also know that it is important to put your sanity before your concerns. Trying to do it on your own when you are struggling will not make you a superhero, it will make you miserable.” Please contact - Jackie Morelowicz at: 386-597-7585 or email: JackieM@cfl.rr.com OR Jim Morelowicz at: 386-597-7585 or email: Jimwicz@cfl.rr.com
TRANSPORTATION
So, if you have to get somewhere in the area and don’t have ready access to a ride – Call THFF!! We have a large cadre of your neighbors that thoroughly enjoy opening their lives to fill your temporary or long-term need. We offer transportation locally and as far as Daytona and Jacksonville and we will plan our time to fit your schedule. We can offer some assistance in getting in and out of our vehicles; however, our services are limited to neighbors that are pretty much fully ambulatory (liability and capability issues). We would appreciate notification of your need at least a few days in advance.

TRANSPORTATION You are not alone in your need. Please see the testimonials below. Testimonials
Thanks to every member in the Haven Family Fund for your time given to drive neighbors in need. Whether it's 1 mile or 30 miles, an emergency or a planned trip; they are ready to assist! The burden of how do I get there is a worry I can now live without. Thanks to all of the members of THFF for making a difference in my life and giving me the opportunity to stay in my home -- all your support in pick-ups have allowed me this luxury! Giving your time assisting neighbors and caring; isn't that what this life is about. I have had some health problems recently and have been seeing doctors and hospitals from Palm Coast to Jacksonville. Haven Family volunteers have driven me three times to appointments, two of them on very short notice, and I couldn't have asked for more considerate people. I had to go to the ER at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine recently and a friend who was scheduled to take me was ill and couldn't drive me. On very short notice, Haven found a driver for me who also waited until my status was decided before she left me at the hospital.
